Susumu Hirasawa's song "Venus(Kinsei)" is sung by the actors in the film "Utsukushii Hoshi(The Beautiful Planet)" (Author: Yukio Mishima, Director: Daihachi Yoshida), which will be released on May 26, 2017. (The song is sung and played by the actors, Tatsuya Wakaba as "Kaoru Takemiya" and Asuka Hinoi as "Izumi" in the story.)

The director, Daihachi Yoshida, commented in the press release, "About half of my way of thinking was made by Susumu Hirasawa."

Comment by Susumu Hirasawa:
I am used to hearing my songs which I played and sang from the movie screen, but this is the first-time experience for me [to hear someone else plays my song on a movie].
I experienced a strange and mysterious reality.
It was like finding the flower, which I sowed in my garden, is blooming at a window side of a stranger's house.

Yasutaka Tsutsui (Novelist)
What an exquisitely delicate film this is! You experience a tense feeling superbly balanced between the literariness and the amusement. Because the film is a sci-fi drama set to the present day, The audience will feel comforted when they see the ending which has the "relief" the original novel didn't have.

Susumu Hirasawa (Musician)
Your brain circuit, which takes the inner and outer stimulation and forms it into the image as the reality, is extended to out of body. It creates another reality when it is entangled with other persons' brain circuits. Such reality is experienced by your brain circuit. It is like you feel continuously dizzy to experience the reality and the illusion projected in the coupled mirror.
