The great caravan
That proceeds on the road like a river
Ah it is coming to welcome YOU

The voice calling you
Lights the miracle lantern

As a miracle worker

They will pick YOU up
Who have lived your dream
Dignifiedly like breeze
.
When the caravan leaves for
The mystical country in the far sky
.
YOU will broom right now
As an eternal flower
.
When you wave your hand,
The mystery would disappear forever

YOU will be extended far
Ah so far
Will continue so long
.
YOU will be heard afar
Ah afar
Will be heard afar

As a garden of universe

Going over the days

【Notes】This song is included in the album Sim City, which had the theme concerning transgender performers in Thailand and Thailand' culture, but this song was created before other songs with the Sim City theme were made. Two songs, Caravan and 月の影/Tsuki no Kage/Dark Side of the Moon were made when the album was going to have the theme of "Dark Side of the Moon" in the first place. So, the song Caravan should have something to do with the Moon.
.
Reading the lyrics, this song reminds me of the famous Japanese folk tale "竹取物語/The Tale of Bamboo Cutter", which is also known as "The Tale of Princess Kaguya/かぐや姫" from the late 9th or early 10th century. I
.
The story details the life of Kaguya-hime, a princess from the Moon who is discovered as a baby inside the stalk of a glowing bamboo plant. After she grows, her beauty attracts five suitors seeking her hand in marriage, whom she turns away by challenging them each with an impossible task. She later attracts the affection of the Emperor of Japan. At the tale's end, Kaguya-hime reveals her celestial origins and returns to the Moon.
.
Princess Kaguya is a person from the Moon, and the flying vehicles from the Moon come to pick her up to carry her back to the Moon. You will find it is just like a science fiction though it was written in 9th or 10th century in Japan.
.
I am sure Mr. Hirasawa is trying to express something different other than the tale of Princess Kaguya. He just used the motif from the story in the lyrics.
