Translator's notes:
The homonym, "Saku"(割く/to cut something in half, to slash) and "Saku"(咲く/[Flowers] to bloom), are used in this song.
Though they can be distinguished with different accents when spoken, they are hard to be distinguished sung in a song like this.
I am sure nobody knew the the word "Saku/to cut" was sung in the song until they looked at the written lyrics because "Saku/to bloom" are often used in a lot of songs including Susumu Hirasawa's but "Saku/to cut" would be a very rare choice to be used in a pop song.
