Note: "What is District 109?"
・"The District 109" reminds me of the "Four Corners" which is the quadripoint where the boundaries of the four states, Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, in the United States of America meet, which is located at 109 degrees west longitude. "Four Corners" is known to be in the Navajo reservation which also surrounds Hopi reservation. The Four Corners area is also known to have the uranium mine which was active after WW2 through 1967, which gave Navajo people the mining jobs but also the radiation caused lung cancer among many of them.

・The lyrics "We have waited for YOU for a thousand years" reminds me of Hopi prophecy, which is supposedly about 1000 years old, which is said to have predicted atomic bombs, today's world living contrary to ecological principles and the laws of Nature, and so on.

・「109号区」( The District 109 )というと、アメリカ合衆国の「フォー・コーナーズ( Four Corners )」、つまり、コロラド州、アリゾナ州、ユタ州、そしてニューメキシコ州の四州が州境を接する地点のことが頭に浮かぶ。ここは地図上で西経109度に位置しているのだ。 「フォー・コーナーズ」はまた、ネイティヴ・アメリカンのナヴァホ族の 居留地と重なっていて、その中にはホピ族の居留地もあることでも知られている。また、ここは ウラン鉱山があり、第二次世界大戦後から1967年まで、ウランが採掘されていた。このウラン鉱山はナヴァホ族の人々に、鉱山労働者としての働き口を与えたが、皮肉なことにウランの放射線のために肺がんを発病する人たちがナヴァホ族の間で続出した。
